Didn’t achieve much in the 1st quarter?
Here’s what to do:
1. Shorten your goal deadlines.
I’ve mentored literally hundreds of founders and entrepreneurs, and one of the biggest things that slows down their achievement is long deadlines.
If you’ve only set yearly goals, then there’s been no pressure on you to make major progress.
To solve this, switch to daily and weekly goals.
Set two important things to get done every day, starting today, and two bigger things to get done each week.
I guarantee you will achieve great things ten times faster.
2. Do most tasks to 80% perfection.
Perfectionists usually don’t achieve much in business. There’s simply too many things that need to get done to do everything perfectly.
It’s far more effective to get most tasks done to an 80% excellent level then move on to the next task.
Better to get ten things done reasonably well than two things done utterly perfectly.
Of course there are times when something really does have to be done perfectly (financials etc) but in business they are rare.
Doing things quickly to 80% excellence greatly reduces procrastination and hugely increases your output.
Do one of these techniques and Quarter 2 will be much more successful for you.
Do both and you will have an awesome year.
